Crustacean Creations in 2015! (posted 16th January 2015)
Well, obviously, as it’s January (freezing cold, we’re all on a diet, some of us aren’t drinking and most of us REALLY cannot wait until pay-day) it’s time to predict what amusing accessory will be big in the world of design this year. Last year Nicola correctly predicted that the pineapple would be a prominent feature, to be found, amongst others, in the form of lamp bases, decorative statuettes, cushions and of course, who could forget the cake that won the 2014 Suna Interior Design Bake Off! The pineapple was everywhere, but that was SO 2014!

This year, after a suitably long debate in the studio that seemed to centre around what we’re all looking forward to this year, we’ve come to a consensus. And apart from beach holidays, in particular Elle’s honeymoon destination (below) we’ve decided that 2015 will continue our love for the ocean and that we’ll be on the hunt for some fabulous crustacean creations!

This was cemented when on a recent trip down to Jersey it was noted that Richard Bramble’s beautiful platters and mugs etc. were on display in duty free. While back on the main-land keep an eye out for these:

Now to find out what all our favourite shops and stores will be surprising us with during the rest of the year!
