The Joinery (posted 26th June 2015)
Last week I went to visit The Joinery show apartment in north London. Now I may be slightly biased, but WOW! It's a really stylish and eclectic space. I'd seen the photography before I went, but from the moment I walked in I really got a great sense of the design within the space. It's considered and fun! And the attention to detail makes each room desirable.
The brief for the design was to create an edgy, London design with an eclectic style comprising unique items, the sort that would be sourced by the discerning and trendy purchasers to whom the development is targeted towards.
Here are a few of the photos that I took during the visit (the non-professional versions):
The long passage wall features a gallery space.
At the end of the passage is a stylish tall mirror
In the master bedroom a vintage, metal frame bed is flanked by two chests that are the bedside tables. The bedside lights are wire-frame flowers that are suspended from the wall.
Beautiful House of Hackney wallpaper creates a feature wall at the opposite side of the room, onto which hangs a stylish round mirror.
An example of the unique styling.
A quirky pigeon light sits on the desk.
This apartment features high ceilings, the bathroom makes the most of this by having the dark palette tiles lining the walls from floor to ceiling, creating a memorable impact from the moment you walk into the room.
This bespoke artwork hangs on the study wall, above the sofa that doubles as a sofa bed.
Hanging on the wall in the study, a quirky way to display images.
The study work space.
The open plan living and dining room featuring the bespoke pixilated artwork of a girl with a pearl earring image and just in case you need to reckon with the dark side, two lightsabres!
The living room features a bespoke purple velvet, punch-button sofa behind which is an oversized mirror and a metal-frame floor lamp. The sofa just cries out to be lain upon... preferably with someone feeding you grapes!

We think this is a really great design and apartment. So keep an eye out on our press pages.
