Where we go: Maison et Objet (posted 29th January 2016)
Last weekend Suna Interior Design's directors, Helen and Rebecca went over to Paris for Maison et Objet 2016. Take a well-deserved Friday break to have a look throughy some of the great desigts and object that were on display.
Trends that were apparent were the use of coral as an objet d'art, metallics in both palette and in the detail on furniture, attention to detail such as stitching and stud work on furniture and the use of natural products: leather, wood and stone. Another trend, and one we're referring to in the office as an 'Oxford-style finish' whereby a trim is left around a piece of furniture which gives it a softer look. A fantastic selection of lighting options and rather a lot of taxidermy! There were also some great British designs.

Chisel & Mouse
And finally, last but least, a selection of taxidermy creatures (we're not sure if we'll be using them though...)
Just a flamingo amongst the blue vases
Zebras in all directions
Oh the elegance of a peacock
Just guarding my treasure!

Your feathers are already glamorous... We all need to take turns in front of the mirror
Pit pat paddle pat, pit pat waddle pat... Jemima's ladies made their way through the exhibition
I hope you've enjoyed reading this, the longest blog of the year!
Have a great weekend,
